My portfolio site consists of various static pages and a Wordpress blog. Once I'd finished the majority of the work on the static pages, I turned the layout into a Wordpress theme in order to make it blend in. (you can read more about what I thought about Wordpress in my blog)
The visuals for this site were produced by The Point Design. I worked with them from the PSD's they provided me to create web pages which matched the visual aesthetics of these compositions, adding both client and server side scripting to enhance the functionality.

Technologies:
The visuals for this site were produced by The Point Design. I developed the interface using XHTML and CSS to construct a layout to correspond with the design. Working with the Google Maps API an interactive map was constructed that would allow for dynamic 'A to B' style directions to be generated based on the users location.
For my final year project at university I constructed a prototype web application which allows users to store and organise their bookmarks online. I also explored ways in which the concept be distributed in different ways, such as an open source self hosted service.
